Look do Dia: Vestido de Verão

Oi amigos,

Gloria Kalil – Como usar tomara-que-caia

Hello friends.

It seems like summer will never end here in California (Praise God) so we continue to dress for it. Summer dresses are my number 1 choice when going out. This one is very special, since it was made by my dear grandma, Ernesta.

#sisterlytip of the day comes from a Brazilian expert.

Gloria Kalil – How to wear strapless clothing (In Brasil strapless dresses or shirts are called: “I hope it falls” terrible huh? hahaha)

1 – People with short upper bodies shouldn’t wear this type of clothing, because it will look like there’s no space between your neck and your waist.
2 – Large breasts are a complicating factor. The very structured dresses will throw your breasts up, along with your arms. If the dress does not have structure, the breasts will look smashed and low, and your dress may actually fall off, due the weight.
3 – To wear a strapless dress the women needs to have a thin waist. If you have a belly or you are out of shape, this will be way more noticeable in a strapless dress.
4 – Your back needs to be skinny too. Otherwise, the dress will show fat rolls in the back, and you can have that little fat jumping over the dress.
5 – People with small breasts need to adjust the dress to their body like a second skin. It cannot be loose, otherwise it can fall off as well.
6 – There is no age limit for strapless pieces. The most important thing to look good in it is the quality of your arms. Older women with reasonable arms can stay stylish with strapless gowns, if they are the appropriate style.
7 – Your skin has to be good. If you are tanned, even more beautiful.
