Blue Stripes and Bell Sleeves on Central Park

Hello Everyone,

On our last day in New York we decided to go for a last stroll in Central Park and photograph the outfit of the day for the blog. The blue striped blouse with amazing bell sleeves is from the online store Makemechic, and the loafers I wear all the time are from AmiClubWear. I’m so in love with blush shoes! This pair is quickly becoming my go to for shoes, plus they very comfortable and elegant.

Stripes have always been a classic trend, so there is no surprise we are still taking about them. However, the difference this year is how we incorporate other trends in a classic blue stripped blouse! Which I dare to say is inspired in menswear. They are feminine and yet edgy, they work for every girl, and better yet, they complement every girl. After all, you can never go wrong with vertical stripes. Everyday a new trend shows up in a blue striped shirt and I keep wanting to broaden my collection that already has a One-Shoulder striped style and one with an Embroidered Trend. Unfortunately, the bell sleeve style I am wearing in these photos is sold out, but I linked other fabulous and similar styles at the end of this post.

From Central Park we walked to the Metropolitan Museum of Art (The Met) so I could take a few Gossip Girl shots seating at the MET steps. A Blair and Serena must have moment for every GG fan! The MET is right by Central Park on 5th Ave.
