How are you today? Sorry I didn’t get this post up earlier, but ever since we got back from Minnesota I’ve been extremely busy with work and the new spring semester classes. I’m hoping next week everything will go back to normal and I can go back to posting at least twice a week.
When I have some time to spare I love to browse my favorite online stores to see what’s in style or what my next purchase should be. I was browsing Makemechic the other day and the pieces below caught my attention. As you might know, although I love fashion, I’m not one who is easily swayed by trends. I like to keep it classy and ladylike as much as possible. I only invest in a trend if I feel that is going to stick for a while, and not just a summer or so. It’s also important to think of what is age appropriate, after all I’m not a teen anymore. As you can see, most of the pieces that caught my eye are very feminine and timeless.
Both of these sandals are so glamorous. They are also available in other colors but I love the pink ones. Pink is definitely “in” for 2017 and you can play with the shades, textures, and bling.
Ankle Strap Pearl Trim High Heels
The tweed dress is such a classy staple. It always makes me think of Jackie Kennedy or other 50’s icons. I definitely need more tweed in my life. The black jumpsuit is so versatile, it screams elegancy and comfort at the same time.
Black Sleeve Lace Crochet Jumpsuit
Pleated skirts are one my favorite pieces of clothing. Nothings says ladylike more than a pleated skirt. I’m so glad they made a comeback about two years ago and now it’s easy to find them in stores.
I also love flowy and gauze blouses. This one with the bow in white is a great piece to dress it up or down.
Dresses for days! I love this dress with the flower print. Great for cooler weather or a summer night at the beach. The Navy dress is a fun and casual outfit for an afternoon out. Although I really like this style, I don’t think it would be very complementary on me. But it’s a great asset to girls with straighter hips.
